I left Elizabeth City at a pre coffee hour.
I travelled through some beautiful areas that reminded me of the Wacamaw down in South Carolina.
To go north from Elizabeth City, I am sailing on a canal that was cut
through originally by slaves to transport shingles to Nofolk. The canal is straight, not very wide, full of floating logs and as pretty as all get out!
I had to pass through the South Mill lock to go north.
Al runs the lock and the bridge on the other side.
Made it!
